Body Type - Pituitary
The pituitary gland is located at the base of the brain in a pocket inside the sphenoid bone known as the sella tursica. It weights one-half gram, of which 85% is water. It is known to directly affect the glands, bladder, uterus, stomach, and spleen, as well as cause contraction of the plain, unstriped muscles of the entire body. The pituitary is second in command of the glandular systems. The hypothalamus collects information concerning hormones, electrolyte levels, and all issues concerning the body, and signals them to the pituitary, with the optimum health of the body in mind. The pituitary is responsible or highly involved with all hormone release in the body. It is responsible for perception and thought energy.

Seizures primarily at night.
Water retention, dysmenorrhea, edema, weakness, hypertension, glucose intolerance, non-insulin dependent diabetes.
Chronic over-production of cortisol will shrink thymus and lymphatic tissue and decrease formation of antibodies, thus decreasing our immunity. (If homeopathics do not work, pituitary may be behind it.)
Basically, pituitary imbalances can be the mother of a domino effect involving many, many body dysfunctions, especially in the glandular system.
