Ways to Enroll Others

The Top 10 Ways to Enroll Others.

1. Find out what they most want in life right now and package/language what you are selling, to meet that need. Stand next to the person and "look" with them at their future/their life and discuss what both of you see for them.

2. Ask a question that gets them to think bigger, expecting more out of life/themselves that has them want more. People LOVE to be asked/expected to want more for themselves. You're Santa Claus!

3. Find out what's blocking the person from buying and address it directly until THEY'VE resolved it. Get them to tell the truth; if they can't see it/language it, language the resistance for them so they can be relieved of it. When someone can properly language their true objection, they can let it go more quickly.

4. Be an example of how the product or service really works. Walk it, don't just talk it. Believe so much in what you're selling that it's contagious. Look the part too.

5. Be someone special enough that those you speak to want to become more like you. People often buy something because there was a quality about the salesperson that they want a piece of/become more like.

6. Understand that most people need to be asked 7 times to buy something. Assume that the first 6 No's are simply requests for more information or a better reason to buy. Not everyone is as quick to choose as most salespeople are. Some folks LOVE/NEED to be sold; they expect it. Don't be bashful. Be proud of what you sell.

7. Get permission to probe/ask tough questions. This is respectful, builds trust and also gets them saying the word Yes, which is always a good start! This way, you become a consultant to them, in the form of asking worth while questions.

8. Be unfazed, non-reactive to whatever the person is saying. If you've decided that what you are selling is GOOD for them (like REALLY good for them), help them to see this and why. This will keep you from getting scared/stopped by whatever they say as they are resisting.

9. Even when they've said YES, listen for the No's and address those. You want the Yes to stay a Yes, forever. Any unresolved No's have a way of growing and choking the Yes within a day or a month.

10. Believe in them. When ANYONE believes in you, you'll tend to accept him or her and buy!
