Net Marketing Busy Season
Are you aware summer is the busiest time of year for network marketing? Just beginning your new business venture or you've been around awhile, either way get ready to turn up the heat in your networking/direct sales enterprise! Think about it folks! Summer is the time of year when people are out and about doing outside activities. Kids are beginning their summer sports fun and their parents are assisting with little league, softball, track and various other sports events. Your prospects are everywhere!
It is time for you to start a full-fledged marketing campaign. Are you on a tight budget? No problem, do bright and colorful flyers. Hand them out personally at one or all of the places I mentioned above. Flyers are a great "low budget" approach to marketing. Notice I said to hand them out, don't put them on cars. In most cases, they end up on the ground and people get irritated having them on their windshields. Make it a point to say "Hello" to everyone you can and strike up a conversation. Don't ramble on and on about what you do. Give the other person a chance to talk about him or herself. If you give them an opportunity to talk you can usually find out which would interest them the most, the opportunity to earn extra money, your product or both.
If you are one of those marketers who is getting ready to get ready then the time to act is now! Take a good fresh approach to prospecting. Step out of your comfort zone a little bit. Make a point of carrying your business cards with you at all times. Are you too shy to approach a stranger about your product and or opportunity? Relax! Here's a no pressure approach for strangers and one they usually find very flattering. You see a quality person in line at the bank or grocery store, where ever, and you're not sure how to approach them. Just walk up to the person with a business card extended out to them in your right hand. Say, "Hi, you look like someone who deserves to have this." Hand them the business card and walk away! Now, was that difficult? If they say anything such as, "Hey, what is this?" You will say, "Just call the phone number and leave a message if it sounds of interest, have a great day!" You then walk away. -Lisa Canon, N.D. |
