Mybolian Gland Dysfunction
My son-n-law has this condition (dry eyes) not sure exactly what it is. Any one heard of this and what can help. -Kathy

According to Traditional Chinese Medicine, the eyes are the body's opening for the liver. Overstimulation of the liver/gallbladder with excessive, hot, spicy foods can encourage muscle spasms, headaches, aching joints, and some allergic reactions; also, the eyes become dry or painful from inadequate moisture and blood circulation (a Heat/Dryness condition). Note: sour tastes drain the wood element (liver) and pungent tastes stimulate it; together they cleanse and normalize its function(i.e., hot water and lemon juice after a meal helps break down fats). Chinese Liver Balance or Chinese Blood Build might help alleviate the problem; energy test to see if one of these will be useful; both will strengthen the liver; Chinese Blood Build will also build the blood and increase healthy circulation throughout the body. Eat more cooling, moistening foods and avoid hot, spice, greasy foods/beverages. -Redhawk |
