Iridology - Mixed Eye
I had a client come in who had a mixed eye, yet in the right eye, there was one "slice of pie" looking portion that was dark brown. I saw slice of pie because the shape of this was as if you were cutting a piece of pie.
If any of you have the Jensen Cards, it looks like the Iris that is half brown and half blue, only in this lady's case, the dark brown is about 20-25% of the Iris. -Lisa A.

It's genetic. I've seen one just like it. -Steven Horne

I've seen this a few times. It's not so common and is genetic. The information I've gathered on it indicates the person would have traits of both blue and brown. Some indicate you take into consideration of the area the "pie" shows up. -Chottsie

It is called a segmental heterachromia. It can also be called "tiger striping" This usually is a labile topile situation of the liver and is a genetic inheritance of liver insufficiency where they may be prone to toxins and congestion. It is their weak link a bit with liver more so if it appears stabile in the liver area. If it is labile then it can still be a concern for the liver area but milder. -Kimberly Balas |
