Travel - Foreign
Hi - what would you suggest taking before and during a foreign trip?

These are NSP products: Food Enzymes or Proactazyme would be super to take before and between your meals in case you ingest any parasites, it will help kill them. Activated Charcoal is a MUST in case of food poisoning and Flora Force Bifidophilus is excellent to take before, during and after your trip. Ginger is also good. Drink only bottled water. Have a nice trip! -Nancy Coulter

My son participated in a 6-week mission trip to Honduras last year, and he passed his Activated Charcoal around more than once. Red Beet Root Formula was also a lifesaver for him, as meals were sporadic, and he was still a growing 6-footer. Spirulina or Super Algae would also help with that. Also, Colloidal Silver in a squeeze type bottle, like a Rubbermaid type of container. He had to promise me he would take a "drink" of Colloidal Silver every morning and evening. He also took Uña de Gato with him, which he only needed to take once, when he got sick. -Carol Matz

Personally - this is what I always have on me - plus enzymes for digestion.
Yarrow - Aids in flushing lymph; infection fighter, strengthens immune system; kills some parasites, good for traveling; can be taken as a tea (1 capsule per cup of water) for nausea or vomiting – sipped as often as needed till symptoms subside. Stops internal or external bleeding. Contains natural form of salicylic acid (main ingredient in aspirin).
Slippery Elm Natural Pepto-Bismol – take for any stomach upset, diarrhea. Will stop spasms but will not constipate. Naturally calming, soothing, mucilaginous, for stomach, intestinal system and/or calming for sore throat or cough.
Ginger Can be taken for nausea from travel/car/boat sickness, for morning sickness and to stimulate natural enzyme production to improve digestion. Very good to flush the lymph system – put 2 tbsp in hot bath – this helps to flush toxins, which cause headaches, nausea and other digestive disorders. May cause a elimination rash as body flushes out toxins.
Feverfew Flushes lymph system; helps with headaches from toxins built up in lymph system. Can be taken for headaches, or daily as a preventative for headaches.
Golden Seal Strongest infection killer; colds, sinus, lungs, stomach flu and can also be used topically on wounds. Best to take high dosages for short period of time (for example 3-4 capsules – 3-4 times a day). Do not take in excess for more than two months unless recommended.
Pau D'Arco Prevents some organisms from mutating; helps with cancer, AIDS, major infections; kills some fungus and viruses. Good made into a tea to boost the immune system.
Elecampane Kills parasite, fungus, bacteria; the one combination not to forget when traveling overseas; can prevent you from getting sick. Best prevention for malaria and other foreign parasites.
Una de Gato For supporting the immune system, joint problems, helps with digestion problems, some parasites, cancer, and AIDS. Also known as cat's claw.
Noni Good to boost immune system and to keep you healthy while traveling or throughout the cold/flu season. Also helps with digestive problems, blood sugar issues, infection, fungus, some parasites, and menstrual issues. Is extremely good for dogs for many disorders.
Activated Charcoal For intestinal gas, and to absorb environmental toxins, and toxins produced by parasites or food or other poisoning, can also be taken before or while eating beans to prevent excess gas. -Kasara D'Elene |
