Cat - Odor Remover Recipe
You can also use one part white vinegar and one part white ammonia--and saturate it good, let it dry then go back with clear water and rinse, rinse, rinse to get the sudsy ammonia out or you'll have a stiff spot on your carpet or whatever. But no odor remains at all. I'll have to try this one too. The more the merrier in this field—at least you may have something in the cabinet that will work! -Frances Burt

Cat urine is probably the most difficult odor to eliminate. She said if a kitty has an "accident", you just clean it with this solution and NO odor will remain. Here it is --
1/4 cup baking soda
1 quart hydrogen peroxide (2 bottles)
1 tsp or so of liquid soap (Sunshine Concentrate) -Georgiana Duncan

If you want to keep your life simple, just purchase Nature's Fresh. It comes in a sprayer bottle already to use and nothing cleans up organic stains better--plus it removes the odor. Really has made life more pleasant cleaning up vomit and doggie poop, both of which used to gag me, but no more. -Kay Lubecke |
