Kinesiology (muscle testing) and iridology is through the National Association of Certified Natural Health Professionals. Their phone number is 1-800-321-1005. They will host a class in your area if you request it, but you must get a certain amount of participants (I think it's twelve) in order to get them to come out. When you graduate, you get to put the certification CNHP behind your name.

Contact Steven Horne's company at 1-800-416-2887 and order his video series on muscle testing. You have to see it to learn it and then you have to practice, practice, practice to gain confidence. But it is a great tool for determining which products to use. I also highly recommend the book called, Healing Energies, available from Nutri Books (1-800-456-5807), or your local health-food store. I would like to add to the discussion on muscle-testing (for appropriate supplements & dosages) that for some people dowsing with a pendulum may be easier (it is for me, anyway). If anyone is interested in learning more about this, there is a beginner's book available online at this website : http://www.discoverit.com/at/asd/robin.html. Many other books are available through the ASD (American Society of Dowsers bookstore. The ASD site is: http://www.newhampshire.com/dowsers.org -Kay

You can also learn Kinesiology technique called Touch For Health. Their website is http://www.touch4health.org This is Kinesiology for the non-medical profession. It includes more than muscle testing, you learn balancing skills as well. It takes 60 - 68 hours to go thru all the courses.
There's a gentleman knowledgeable in Touch For Health that writes articles for the Alt Med community in AOL. For anyone on AOL you might want to check out the Kinesiology section in Alt Med.

I took one of Steven Horne's classes who also has video packages out to teach. I have a book called "Your Body Doesn't Lie" by Dr. John Diamond, M.D. This really explains what Kinesiology is all about. Also there is an organization called Touch For Health that has instructors all over that teach this branch of Kinesiology. Their website is http://www.touch4health.org I did a lot of searching on the Internet (look up Kinesiology) and found a lot of useful information as well as "how-to's". -Chottsie |
