Cat - Bizarre Behavior
My daughter has a 2 1/2 year old cat that has just recently started behaving in a very strange way. When my daughter is in bed or perhaps changing clothes, her cat will lay her ears back and get a look of hatred and attack her with claws unsheathed and bites her. We can see no reason. She is good and loving to the cat and gives her quite a bit of attention. She lets the cat out in the backyard quite frequently, but will not allow her out of the yard. We were wondering if she is beginning to go feral again. -Jean Robison

Give the cat Distress Remedy every time she acts out. You may be amazed at the quick results. -Herbs4healthy

I have seen other animals do this – often they become so familiar with humans that they loose their instinctive respect – they look on them as a peer. Perhaps with jealousy. I don't have an answer, just this attempt to find a rational of the cat's behavior. -Georgiana Duncan |
