Skin - Yellow
Has anyone ever had their skin turn yellow over the entire body from over cleansing the liver? What is the best way to get your skin back to normal? I talked to a nutritionist and she said that the best way is to systematically take 4 oz. of distilled water every thirty minutes. -Martha

Yellow skin is a sign that the liver is producing too much belirubin. This is the yellow color you see on the lower eye and palms of hands when the liver is having a hard time. You see it in Hep C especially. I would take Spirulina and Liquid Calcium in small doses for a week or two. Also good is Aloe Vera Whole leaf. Give you liver a break for a while. -Suzanne

I have never heard of this. Over cleansing causes the skin to turn yellow? It sounds like Jaundice.
Was there beta carotene in the cleanse? If so it should resolve itself on it's own I would think overtime. It could be something more serious though or it could be you flushed a stone in one of the ducts. -Dee |
