My husband has been diagnosed with high blood sugar. He is now taking insulin. He was scheduled for total knee replacement surgery on the 31st and is now having to postpone it for 2 wks until his sugar is under control.
He is also on medication for high blood pressure.

Question: Can my husband take chromium while on insulin??? Of course, the docs are telling him no supplements since he's on all sorts of other meds.
We do not know what is causing the blood sugar all of a sudden. It has always been around 160; a week ago it was 375 and now it is 420!!!

I'm very worried.
