Rotator Cuff - Torn

What would you use for a torn rotator cuff? -Donna

December 25, 2003 I tore my rotater cuff cross country skiing. After the MRI confirmed this, a surgery date was set which was to be in 2 weeks. I began an herb program of: 6-8 Collatrim, 6 Bone/Skin Poultice, 3 ATC CA, 3-5 Phenothol at night to enable me to sleep, and AC Healing Cream. Plus I used a Far Infra Red (Hot House) machine. I soon had my pain under control. I had had no extension with that arm. Just a few days prior to surgery I spontaneously raised that arm to write on a blackboard at school with no pain. That afternoon I called and canceled my surgery as I wanted to give my shoulder more time to heal with the herbs. By summer I was doing all my normal things and my shoulder is just as good as the other one that had rotator cuff surgery 2 years prior. I still use 6 Collatrim a day to help with the cartilage. I am in this situation due to car accident. Because my Mum had the surgery and still in pain I am trying natural. I use Noni Juice -2Tb in half cup of grape juice w/coral calcium and colloidal minerals. Vitamin B Complex or Nutri-Calm. Also check out Lysine. I use MSM cream often. Also use a mixture of almond oil-2oz, clove-15 drops & 30drops of deep relief. I take other supplements I also have nerve damage and Fibromyalgia. My heart goes out to this person. Pain puts more stress on the body. I hope this info helps. -D. Mattern

At National Convention four people got to try the new cream EverFlex. All four got positive results! One of them had problems with the rotator's cuff. She was able to move her arm all around. -Deborah Fischer

I tore my rotator cuff back in May. It is a very slow healing process and very painful! Hang in there. I am taking Triple Relief, Noni, EverFlex tabs and EverFlex Pain Cream applied after Nature's Fresh, Licorice Root, Sam E, Vitamin E, Coral Calcium, enzymes with meals and protease plus between meals, vitamin C, EFA's-they are natural anti-inflammatory products(omega 3's, flax seed oil, Evening Primrose Oil). Physical therapy is a must. Do the exercises the therapist recommends. Get an MRI to see how severe the tear is. -Georgiana

Personal experience -- I had this happen from a severe auto accident last October. Depending on how bad it is -- I can't say there is a fast solution. My myopractor worked my arm for me. I thought it would break off it hurt so bad at first. I have taken LARGE quantities of Super Omega 3 EPA (As many as 6 or 7, twice a day -- I'm now taking 4, twice a day. I also take Hi Lipase to help with the breakdown and assimilation of the fish oil. I also had injuries to the muscle in my upper arm which the Omega 3 EPA helps with. As soon as the IF Relief and Nature's Phenyltol came out, I started taking them also. I muscle test amounts. It has become easier and easier to work my arm/shoulder joint. WORLD of difference. Almost complete freedom of movement now!!!

I DID use the EverFlex Pain Cream and Healing AC Cream also and it helped, but not as much as the internal products. Someone recently suggested spraying Nature's Fresh on the area -- so I may try that also. The last week I've been using 4 or 5 drops of Deep Relief Essential Oil Combination in about a tablespoon of NSP Massage Oil -- massaged in my shoulder and upper arm -- That seems to help the remaining pain almost entirely. -Georgiana

What does the super omega 3 EPA do for the torn rotator cuff?. I just got back from muscle testing and it showed I have a torn ligament in the shoulder..............area of the rotator cuff. On Monday I
am going to my chiropractor who does the NUCCA type therapy. So I have
been searching for info since I got home. Any additional info would be helpful -Donna

The Super Omega 3EPA takes away the inflamation allowing the shoulder to heal.

I was in a serious auto accident (flipping nose over tail down a 100' embankment. I couldn't even move my arms, let alone over my head. It took several months to totally heal. I took the Omega 3 EPA (8 - 16 per day along with Hi Lipase) and then added IF Relief and Phenytol when they came out. My myopracter worked my arms/shoulders. I swore he would make it worse -- but he must have broken adhesions loose or something, because with each appointment, it got better and better. 6 months after the accident I had total mobility. I caused this problem by hurling my heavy suitcase onto a trolley at the airport. I play golf twice a week and can't follow through properly without pain. The right arm and shoulder constantly ache unless I take anti-inflams. I have had this for two months now and haven't seen anyone about it. What is you opinion and can you help me.

It doesn't happen overnight. Depending on how severe it is will determine the length of time to heal. I told my story in the two posts before your post. Do read them . . . . I was positive I would have to have surgery to ever use my arms again . . . .Have total mobility now. -Georgiana
