Ragweed Allergy

I have recently learned that feverfew and milk thistle are in the same family as ragweed. I would like to know if there is a list of herbs that should be avoided if I am allergic to ragweed, bermuda grass, saltbush, cocklebur, alternaria, cladiosporium, curvalaria, and helminthosporium. Thank you for your help. -Mary Foerster

I don't know of a list, but a couple of other herbs to use with caution when allergic to ragweed are Chamomile and Golden Seal. -Michele

Be sure to watch the intake of dairy products. I was eating lemon yogurt one summer & my eyes started itching, sneezing, & nose running. One day I was out of yogurt & it QUIT. -Donna Weber

Alfalfa and Echinacea may also spark your allergy symptoms, in addition to what has already mentioned. -Jason
