Pinguecula
Is there anything herbal that can be done with Pinguecula of the eye? Also, Pterygium of the eye? - Cecelia

It sounds like a start would be to work on lessening inflamation in your body -- and something topical for irritation and dryness.
These explanations may help someone help you:
Pinguecula
Overview
A pinguecula (pin gwe' cue la) is a benign, yellowish growth that forms on the conjunctiva. They usually grow near the cornea on the nasal side. Pingueculae (plural form of pinguecula) are thought to be caused by ultraviolet light and are most common among people who spend a great deal of time outdoors.
This growth does not affect vision, but may cause irritation if it becomes elevated.

Pterygium
(pronounced ter ig¢ ee um)
terygium is a raised, wedge-shaped growth of the conjunctiva. It is most common among those who live in tropical climates or spend a lot of time in the sun. Symptoms may include irritation, redness, and tearing. Pterygiums are nourished by tiny capillaries that supply blood to the tissue. For some, the growth remains dormant; however, in other cases it grows over the central cornea and affects the vision. As the pterygium develops, it may alter the shape of the cornea, causing astigmatism. If the pterygium invades the central cornea, it is removed surgically.
Since pterygiums are most commonly caused by sun exposure, protecting the eyes from sun, dust and wind is recommended. Instilling artificial tears liberally is also helpful to decrease irritation. In some cases, steroid drops are prescribed to reduce inflammation. -Georgiana

A Pinguecula is usually caused by medium to chronic malabsorption of dietary fats. They can be clear or even yellow in color. The more yellow the worse the absorption issue. Clear is more gall-bladder and yellow is more liver. It's highly suggested that you take a good digestive enzyme before meals and avoid bad fats especially - such as rancid and trans-fats. I don't have enough info on a Pterygium but I know that major emotional issues are involved.
Clean up your diet, avoid bad fats, eat lots of greens, take good liver herbs like dandelion and milk thistle plus a good digestive enzyme. No alcohol. Drink Chlorophyll and lots of water. That's a start.
