pH Handouts

I suggest if you want to do consultation on Reams Testing or pH balancing, you make a teaching type consultation. Where you teach the client how to read and record ph levels, for you to review at the second consultation. (Teaching someone how to read ph paper isn't against the law yet.) I do normally get the client to record their ph levels for at least a week. Then you can give them a ph handout to help them understand what to eat and which NSP products to take if they get out of ph balance. I have had great results using the following handouts. -Jim Bledsoe

The following handouts where provided by Joan V. during one of NSP Executive Committees:

Balancing the pH with NSP Program

Carey Reams postulated that energy in the body is created by the interaction of anionic foods (negative-alkaline) and cationic foods (positive-acid). pH is the measurement of resistance. People who do not get the proper balance in their diet do not digest their food. The speed of digestion is a key ingredient in maintaining health. pH is digestion. It is the speedometer of the body.

Acid pH -- below 6.4 - Food digesting too fast
The stomach empties quite rapidly and food is not properly digested.

Symptoms:
Diarrhea, yeast infections anemia, Cohn's lower abdominal pain, early menopause, loss of bone density, calcium utilization problems, mineral reserve low.
Suggestions:
* Stomach Comfort - 2- twice daily between meals - 1000 mg. Calcium Carbonate
* Vitamin A & D
* Colloidal Mineral and SKL or Chewable Calcium
* Lemon/maple syrup drink
* Enzymes needed-Food Enzymes with meals. Protease Plus between meals on an empty stomach.
* NO Vitamins C except Rosehips or Bioflavonoids* Alkaline Foods - See Diet
* Alkaline Juice Mix - Carrot, Celery, and Beet 2 oz. of each
* Herbs: Green Tea, Ginger, Yucca, parsley, Green Zone
* Aromatherapy - Lemon 2 drops with 8oz. water twice daily
* Bath soak - 1 cup Epson Salt, 2 tbs, Ginger, 1 box baking soda - soak 20 minutes

Alkaline pH- above 6.4 Food digesting too slow

Symptoms:
Toxic bowel, gall bladder, liver problems, PMS, skin problems, parasites, gall bladder congestion common, body odor, bad breath.

Suggestions:
* Calcium Magnesium
*Apple Cider Vinegar - 1 tbsp. 3x daily with honey - improves digestion
* Flax Seed Oil capsules 1-3x daily, Oil 2 tbsp. Per day (salad dressing)
* Acidophilus, yogurt, buttermilk
* Chicken, turkey, organic beef, lamb, fish, eggs, most grains, blueberries, honey
* NO nuts, no nut butters, black pepper or cheese
* Enzymes needed - PDA each meal and Protease Plus between meals
* High levels of Vitamin C.. This alone can bring down high numbers.

The Saliva comes from the lymph and indicates what you put in the body.
The Urine tells us what we take out of the body and blood.

Using Reflectometer and Conductivity Meter

Carbohydrates (Sugar)
The fuel gauge or potential energy
A reflectometer is used for this test since it records all sugars 1.5 is the Correct Carbohydrate Number of the Equation.

LOW SUGAR: A reading below 1.0 may indicate hypoglycemia - low blood sugar.
* Sip RO. water until noon with juice (grape or apple)
* Herbal Tea with honey, stevia, or molasses
* Green Drink - Green Zone with juice
* Fruit 2 or 4 daily, cottage cheese with fruit
* Protein needed for breakfast
* Herbs: Licorice, HYA, Pantothenic Acid, Spirulina
HIGH SUGAR: A reading of above 5.5 may indicate borderline diabetes.
* Drink Distilled water by weight - 4 oz. every 30 min.
* No fruit juice after 2 PM except melon in the evening
*Green Zone
*Avoid sugars, white potatoes (red only), white flour (whole wheat only)
*Herbs: Green Tea, Nopal, NBS-AV, AS/Gymnema
* Plenty of vegetables and vegetable soups

Salt Reading
The Conductivity Index. The salt number represents the concentration or conductivity in the body.
This number represents the lipid or fat metabolism, total blood plasma and cholesterol in the blood.
The Correct Reading is 6.5C (5C-12 is the Healing Ranger)
LOW SALT: Below 6. Liver malfunction causes low conductivity.
* Colloidal Minerals or Mineral Chi
* Kelp or Sea Salt
* Lowered physical and mental activity.
* Carbohydrates have an effect on the salt number.

HIGH SALT: Above 7 - Symptoms: High Cholesterol, hardening of the arteries, high blood pressure, heart condition, kidney disease, diverticuli, join problems, Hiatal hernia, loss of tone in the tissue, arteries, heart & smooth muscles.
* Drink Distilled water
* Support the Liver. Liver is responsible for keeping salt
reading normal.
* Suspect a Vitamin A, D, E, Selenium, and Zinc deficiency.
* Salt is stored in fats. Losing weight reduces salts.
