Pancreatitis
I have a 42 year old female with severe pancreatitis (two hospitalizations) It's been many years since I dealt with this one. -Patricia

Dear Patricia ,My understanding is that besides supporting the pancreas the liver needs to be supported as well because these two organs work so closely together.
You can consider: Barley juice powder it is high in organic chromium which is necessary for the pancreas, it also has 8 amino acids, many minerals and enzymes, one of which is SOD (superoxide dismutase; powerful anti-oxidant). It also cleanses the liver and supports the immune system. It is easy to digest so it won't tax the system. If your client decides to take this recommend they take it with warm water. I learned in a class that it can help assimilate and uptake into your blood stream quicker. It is very nutritive. For therapeutic effect you should start with 6 capsules (1st week) and move to 8 per day.
I also suggest Protease Plus, this will help against the potential of developing pancreatic cancer. It also will help reduce inflammation.
Along with that diet is very essential. Very low in fat and sugar while she is recovering. If she can fast for 1 or 2 days every other week that will be very helpful. It helps the organ recover.
If infection is suspected, Garlic or Olive leaf extract my be needed.
I hope this is helpful. -Lourdes Martinez |
