Megacolon
I have a customer with the following diagnostic: Megacolon, transverse colon collapsed, spastic colon. Melanosis coli(dark pigmentation on the colon walls). Her doctor wants to do a colectomy (to take the whole colon out), but she refuses. She wants to know if there are any alternatives to fix her problem. She has suffered from chronic constipation for years. Any advise would be very helpful. Thanks. -Lili

I think you should look for a colon hydrotherapist in your area. Go to this link: http://www.colon-hydrotherapy.com/directory.asp and you should be able to find one in your area. Colonic irrigation, in my opinion, would be the number one choice for something as serious as the megacolon. Also, using the fiber and bowel support products from NSP in conjunction with the colonics would provide the most benefit. -Andrew |
