Leg - Pains

I've had severe leg pains since 1999..Doctors came up with everything...Restless Leg...Fiber something....giving me all kinds of meds and advice.....NOTHING worked..to this day I still have the pains...Pains are at night ....I turn over or stretch and there it is...I SCREAM in pain. At first the pains were in the calf of my legs...They protruded...I could feel them ...now it feels more deeper INSIDE the legs...still the same severe pain. The pain feels like cramps...this is also in my feet...FINALLY I went to a new doctor and he sent me for a test in a hospital. They put blood pressure cups on the arms and legs and this registers on a machine.....it showed I have BLOCKAGES in both legs...50 percent in one and 5 in the other.....right now Im on a baby aspirin a day and in two weeks Im going to a Specialist. He has a fac of the test and has called me and told me to come in. Tonite on Larry King they spoke of DVT....It may help some of you to look this up...type...... preventdvt.org.......I have the feeling this is my problem and will soon find out. They say a few million ppl have this..Please look it up...at least read it...it could be a killer. -Rae Painter

Dear Rae, this sounds much the same as I had last year and nothing anybody suggested helped in the slightest! Most that was suggested I had already done. The pain was dreadful at nights! Much worse than Arthritis! I would take 2 hot water bottles to bed to put them between my legs and rub Tie Fu Massage cream in. The pains were worst in my right leg but were to a much lesser degree also in the left leg. I took lots of Dong Quai, up to 10 daily at times. It thins the blood and dissolves clots. (Plus kills certain parasites, stops heart attacks and strokes and does so much much more things.)I wondered if parasites were involved! I took capsicum, horsetail, hawthorn and Butcher's broom in case it was the veins and arteries clogging. Lobelia too as it can unblock areas. Oregon Grape as MRSA is a big problem around my area. HNS-W and plenty concentrated garlic. I went to Perth a 7- hour flight and thought I must put the Tie Fu Cream in my cabin bag, but forgot. The result was it was a dreadful journey because of the leg pains. I had considered taking on board a hot water bottle too but thought better of it. One other thing I took in large doses was Liquid Chlorophyll. 2 Cups each day! I had someone help me test what herbs to take with me for the journey. The total was a mixture of different ones totaling 68! But I was bothered most by the fact that I tested for 2 cups of Chlorophyll everyday for a whole 5 weeks! The thought crossed my mind that perhaps I was 'on my way out'. = [Dying] In Perth I had so much Angina it slowed me down but I just had to stop for breath and the pain to ease off. Took more Dong Quai. Always carried a bottle in my purse! I did so much walking while there. By the time I returned home, 9 days later, the pains were not bothering me the same and finally disappeared. That was the leg pains. But the Angina was still a problem unfortunately as it could not be hidden from my family. So from then on I was could I say, "NAGGED" to go to a Dr and get it checked out. Must add here I was very careful to make sure I kept my fluid intake up Daily. Two and a half months later a new Patient came. The Lady's worst problem was she had had Rheumatic Fever so many times, her heart was a mess and she was so sick. I looked up my Harrison's Principles of Internal Medicine. Rheumatic fever is caused by Haemolytic Streptococci! Haemolytic = means it causes bleeding- Haemorrhaging. Now I thought back to April. I noticed I had Black bowel motions. One day, two days, three days. I had neither eaten nor drunk anything that could cause my motions to be black. So I knew I was bleeding internally and as I felt absolutely fine, I did nothing. But on the fourth morning I crashed! So I had to do something quick! I just could not work feeling like I did. I drank a bottle of Chlorophyll in 20 hours. Followed by a second in the following 30 hours. That lifted me right back up. I felt normal again. Trouble is I couldn't work out the reason for my haemorrhaging. I thought I should ask the Forum Members for a list of all the possible causes for haemorrhaging at aged 68years. I did not test as having any parasites. Then there was the difficulty of getting onto the site; I most always have a problem getting on. So time went on and I kept taking my herbs and chlorophyll. When I learned about Rheumatic fever I had a friend test me. So I finally had the answer to these three problems. I need to say here that when one is continually on an amount of herbs and vitamins they do not always get strong symptoms of the conditions they pick up. This can make it a little difficult recognize a problem starting. But do not use that as an excuse not to take our wonderful products. I am still alive because of NSP. Just thought what I have written could help others. Just a little more info; A Gentleman had these bad leg pains too. I tried unsuccessfully to remedy the pain. Eventually we discovered it was Sciatica. Deep slow massage up the centre back of the offending leg, right into the buttock using Tie Fu Massage Cream and herbs for infection. He had 2 areas that were like a lump. The sciatic nerve runs down the back of the leg and can cause pain right under the foot when it is real bad. Keeping the area real warm even if it is warm weather. Plus a hot water bottle on that area at night. A Doctor told me that many years ago and it works to ease the pain but herbs for infection are still needed. Valerie

Q: I have 2 people with pain in the legs. But this is really different. I hope someone will have the answer to this problem. The pains are not during the day unless there is a considerable time of "non activity". But other than that it is majorly only happens during the night. Sometimes starts a little as the person gets into bed. But mostly comes on during sleep./ Spoiling the night's rest! I suggested a hot water bottle even if it is a hot night. This seems to helps lots but what we want to know is the cause then we can work on that! It is not Gout or arthritis. Thanks Valerie

It could be a deficiency of Pantothenic Acid (B-5). Studies have shown that this is the main deficiency for "burning feet syndrome" and also can cause aches and pains to shoot up the legs.

I would suggest the B-complex with extra pantothenic acid. If they are on meds., the B-vitamins, specifically the B-5, may be blocked from being absorbed properly. If on meds. investigate what nutritional deficiency they cause. Best wishes. -Lourdes Martinez

At the NSP classes I have been to, among other classes on health, weather emotional or physical. Exercise is always put at the top of the list. A lot of pain, physical or emotional come from lack of physical exercise and proper stretching. This is number one. Number two. Do not eat 3 hours before bed unless you need a little protein to help you sleep. How is the diet? Is it balanced and healthy? Number three. See a massage therapist or a professional who gives acupuncture treatment. Magnesium relaxes muscles. Kava Kava at bedtime. Again, exercise of some type is the most important. -Teresa McIntyre

You can try using the Deep Relief essential oil blend (23 drops of EO to 1 ounce of carrier oil/lotion). Rub that on the area. The oils in this blend help pain by increasing circulation to the area, and generally warming up the tissue to help with any associated muscle restrictions or spasm. Are you getting enough potassium in your diet? I've heard that a deficiency in potassium (or even magnesium) can cause those kinds of pain. And, as always, more water couldn't hurt anything. -Andrew

The latest on my pains.. Had pains in the hips and knees mainly when not moving around, like when sleeping, sitting on the aeroplane going to Perth they were terrible, in a lecture. Hot water bottle eased them and Tei Fu Cream but nothing I took cleared them! Then today I was talking to a young lady just Dr Diagnosed with Fibromyalgia yesterday! She thought the Dr was wrong with his diagnosis, So I tested her and got the Dr was correct.. I queried her symptoms and the pain times fitted mine perfectly. Then in the afternoon I had another lady who had been diagnosed years ago Her symptoms also fitted the pattern. She also tested she still had it, as did the one in the morning so I tested for myself and at last got a yes for the cause of the pains I have been suffering from for so long this year. I put that call out on the NSP forum from USA and nothing anyone suggested tested as correct and even though I did a lot of what was suggested nothing worked! So now I will do the Fibralgia herbal Combination. I was told you had to have so many symptoms to be diagnosed so I will have to look into it again. All my old info was lost on the last computer breakdown, but I have just pulled down the FAQ info. -Valerie

I know someone who was healed overnight from fibromyalgia, it had everything to do with the roots of the disease, caused by stress, and emotions. Here is a link to her website where she tells her story. Hopefully this will help http://www.theherbsplace.com/fibromyalgia.html -Christina

It could be a neurological movement disorder called Restless Leg Syndrome. I have had RLS for 9 yrs. now and it took 4 yrs to diagnose it. It starts when you try to go to sleep or when you are in-active for a period of time. It makes you unable to sleep at all. See a neurologist that specifically treats RLS for treatment. Hope you get the answers you need. It could be a deficiency of Pantothenic Acid. -Sharon

First of all, does this person consume enough WATER?

Without knowing exactly what type of pain, i.e., sharp, shooting or achy pain, it sounds like it could be a mineral deficiency, especially magnesium, potassium or calcium.

Topically, I've applied Tei Fu Massage Lotion just prior to bedtime - it warms the area and helps muscles to relax AND it can help reduce inflammation. Deep breathing or products to help oxigenate the blood, such as, Blessed Thistle may be helpful.

I have a client who has a problem with degenerative discs in the lower lumbar area. Due to this condition, he has excruciating pain radiating down his left leg (Sciatica). Recently, we began applying lots of Nature's Fresh, a little Deep Relief Essential Oil and/or a little Tei Fu Essential oils along the spine and down his left leg. For the first time in years, he was pain free over this last weekend - even went out and played 9 holes of golf (I would not recommend this right away.)

This person smokes and drinks coffee all day long. Coffee, Regular Tea, Soda Pop and smoking "leach" minerals from the body! (Had to throw that in, in case your person with the leg pain consumes any of these things.). Hope it helps. -Jan
