Immunization Exemption
My daughter will be starting kindergarten this fall and she still needs a few immunizations according to the school. I have found out the dangers of the shots since she had her last shots and I really don't want her to take any more. Does anyone have info on how I can get an exemption? I know that some religions reasons can get you out of them but is there any other way. Please give me any info on how to get this accomplished, how to get the forms, etc. Thanks in advance for any advice!! -Deann Hensley

Links to exemption forms for all 50 states is available at http://vaclib.org, along with other important information on this subject. Best wishes, Laura Clement, Author, HART Master Reference

Please visit the website for the National Vaccine Information Center at www.909shot.com
There is a phone number there for their center, which you can call, to find out what you must do in your state to exempt your child. Some states have a "conscientious objector" statute and some states don't. If your state doesn't then as far as I know you will need to go the religious exemption route. -Carol Martz
