H-Pylori

What is the NSP product for H-Pylori? Spouse had it, underwent severe antibiotic regimen, and several years later an endoscopy shows he still has it. He has stomach pains and breath that smells like moth balls, and Dr. can't determine anything wrong. Besides a major cleanse, what is the product developed for this? Thanks you. -Sandi

Gastro Health and Probiotics. -LeRae

And to the GastroHealth add one of the Probiotic formulas, add either Food Enzymes or PDA to take with each meal. You may need to add either Spleen Activator or Small Intestine Detox as well. He may need to do this program for several days or weeks. After the program another protocol must be followed to heal the stomach lining and intestinal wall damage done by the bacteria.

This would include the Probiotic formula along with something like Intestinal Soothe & Build, Aloe Vera Juice, Slippery Elm - along with regular use of Food Enzymes or PDA. Occasionally I have to add Digestive Bitters for a time.

Many many people have this condition, according to a U.S. News and World Report article that a client brought to show me - over 50% of the population! And they just don't know it.

There is hope that your husband can feel better. -Carol

I asked somebody about bad breath with which I suffered the past fifteen years. I take care of of my teeth and all of the oral hygen -- So where is the bad breath from? From the stomach? Some scholars did not agree bad breath comes from the stomach, and somebody advise me so as to check the bacteria called 'H-Pylori'-- Is this true? Thanks -Mulugeta

Try the Herbal HP fighter intended for this problem, using at least a few bottles of it. Also build up the good bacteria again with Bifidophilus, enzymes and calcium might also be needed. -Cheryl

Mulugeta, You say you take care of your teeth. Have you ever just scraped your tongue with one of those tongue cleaners you find in the toothbrush/floss section?

I have two clients that when they tried this their bad breath seized. It seems that bacteria grows on the tongue and it doesn't get washed away by just brushing. They did this 2 times a day for about a week or two and noticed a great difference.

NSP has two products you can try, one is Gastro Health, specifically formulated to kill of the H-pylori microbe...however after 1-2 bottles if you don't get 100% relief then I suggest the Para-cleanse with Paw Paw, which is a parasite cleanse. Best wishes. -Lourdes Martinez

H. Pylori Bacteria

The H. Pylori is not technically a parasite, it is a spiral bacteria.

While excessive stomach acid secretion certainly plays a role in the development of ulcers, a relatively recent theory holds that bacterial infection is the primary cause of peptic ulcers. Indeed, research conducted since the mid-1980's has persuasively demonstrated that the bacterium Helicobacter Pylori is present in 92 percent of duodenal ulcer cases and 73 percent of gastric ulcers.

This bacteria survives in the stomach acid by living in the protective lining and producing an enzyme, urease, which neutralizes the stomachs acid.

A blood test from your physician will determine if you are infected with these ulcer causing bacteria. Doctors then will prescribe a whole malady of items that are suppose to help. Those costing approximately $200.00 for a two week period for a child's dosage.

Then you kill off your good bacteria. This is how our doctor discovered it, and was shocked with the results. Didn't in any way, shape or form, think it possible for her to have this. He consulted with doctors from around the USA to get the proper dosage for a child.

There is another test on the market that is just hitting the USA. You can breath into a tube and from this breath analysis they can determine whether or not you are a carrier. According to medical reports from Germany and other Europe/Asian countries, H. Pylori is very common in adults as well as children. Many people are carriers and few experience the live bacterial outbreak. Once in the system, even if you kill it off, it will remain dormant. Much like a herpes virus, it will settle in your system and remain for life. While unclear exactly where it comes from and how you are infected, such ideas as a fly carrying it and landing on your skin have been examined.

The Pharmaceutical answer for this "bacterial bug" is: Amoxicillion, Bioxin, Prevacid, and Bentyl for the cramps. This treatment is almost unknown of in a child, therefore, they had to make a dosage.

I feel this helped to some extent, with the exceptions of the yeast infection that she then experienced; however, as soon as the treatment was over, it started right back up.

Herbal H-p Fighter (Now called "Gastro Health") by Nature's Sunshine Products is a product designed specifically to help ulcers by killing H. Pylori. It contains licorice in combination with the antibacterial herbs cloves, inula and Pau d'Arco. I will warn you that for a small child, the taste is terrible. Applesauce is not enough to mask it. After a full bottle of the Herbal H-p Fighter she has been healthy ever since. I have had to work on rebuilding her immune system. Her doctor is a believer now. --Lisa Canon

While H-Pylori can be the culprit in many cases, sometimes the nose is the problem. I recently found that I had an overgrowth inside one nostril which created my bad breath because it was blocked by 80%. I've gone to doctors before but no one told me I had this blockage until I saw a specialist. I could not tell I had an overgrowth or that I was not using both nostrils in breathing, etc. The specialist said most likely the growth gradually increased in size so that I did not realize the blockage was there. Once the doctor removed that blockage my breath became normal! I could tell it immediately once the passage was opened!

Just thought I'd throw in what helped me! -Frances
