Horse - Fly Spray

Does anyone have an essential oil recipe for horse flies?? -Donna

I make a bottle of spray with Lavender Essential Oil -- just a few drops in a pint of water. I shake the bottle each time before spraying.

Now I don't know if you mean flies ON your horse, or horse flies around the house. I spray around the outside of my doors AND spray my horse.

We have a "ala natural" exterminator. He using diatamatious earth and essential oils. He's the one who told me that lavender will discourage insects. I tried it for flies and it worked great and smells wonderful. -Georgiana
