Heart - Surgery

My friend recently had heart surgery and her energy level is very low. Her ears ring sometimes when this happens. She can hear the saw that they used during the surgery. Also she is feeling extremely melancholy, not suicidal, but like why bother feelings come upon her. What is she able to take that will help her? Thanks. -Colleen

Colleen, if this was me I would take CoQ twice a day and I would also look at Inner Peace essential oil to rub on her feet. Chinese Mineral Chi will help with electrolytes and energy flow. -Nancy

Q: My dad had open heart surgery - triple by pass and they replaced a valve in his heart with an artificial valve. He has been on Coumadin blood thinner since. Does anyone have any suggestions for an herbal replacement? Thanking you in advance. -S Shapiro

Lily of the Valley and Blessed Thistle are two herbs that come to mind for any cardiac problems. Some historical uses for lily of the valley contains glycosides that correct acute heart failure, cardiac edema, heart valve insufficiencies and dilation of heart chambers. Will help the heart muscle to relax, beat slower, but with more force so it is not racing and over working.

To do its job Blessed Thistle is an oxygenator to the heart, lungs and brain. Helps supply body and heart with energy to keep all working smoothly. Lily of Valley is a specialist for repair of heart valves, including mitral bicuspid valve on left side of the heart between upper and lower chambers.

Also there are herbs (Mega Chel) that can safely clear out plaque from the arteries by using oral chelation. Some herbal combinations used are Capsicum cayenne pepper most effective and harmless stimulant in herbal kingdom has been used to stop all unnatural types of bleeding internally and externally, is used in many heart formulas for it is pure food for the heart, can successfully reduce platelet adhesion in arteries.
