Cat - Vomiting
I know the reason we and our animals vomit is to expel something unfriendly to our systems. My cat has had bladder stones, surgically removed. I see that Hydrangea seems to be recommended for UTI. He is on a diet of Pet Guard canned food & Burns real food for cats (dry). I also give him Biotic-PH to bring his urine more alkaline, since his stones were due to high acid. His PH tests around 7.0.
Seems cyclically every 2 weeks, he over eats, then vomits. Taking about 36 hours to recoup. I offer fresh bottled water. Any suggestions? -Marybeth

Dear Marybeth, My 8 year old cat(rescued about 3 years ago, so I am not sure of his past life)has not had the surgery or bladder stones like your cat has had. However he has vomited every few days regularly since I got him, until the past 6 months when I put him on Proactazyme Plus. I open a capsule and put it on his food (Pet Guard-wet and Precise-dry). He is about 12 pounds and he gets 1 capsule a day. It is amazing how it has stopped the vomiting. Hope that this might be your answer. -Kathy |
