Cat - Urinary Tract Infection

Is it safe to give cats JP-X or Colloidal Silver for a urinary tract infection? Thank you! Have a great day! -Eli Rice

I have a male cat who developed a urinary tract infection at 3 yrs of age. Even after being treated with antibiotics he would still develop the infection again after several months. When I took him back on the 3rd infection, the vet wanted to put him on kitty Prozac. He didn't believe my cat had the infection again. The Vet decided to check his urine and behold he still had the infection. So I decided to put him on Cranberry-Buchu after his last dose of antibiotic. I gave him 1 cap a day for the past year and he hasn't had a problem since. I also changed his food especially for urinary health. -Shelly Jenkins
